Marriott'S Waiohai Beach Club Hotel Koloa, Koloa

The hotel rooms were very acceptable and nice, although they are considerably smaller compared to 2 bedroom units at other locations. The service was all great, especially the activities staff who are extremely friendly and helpful. The location offers beautiful gardens and is on the sunnier side of the island, with access to a private swimming/surfing beach. The dining experience was good in our room, especially during rainy weather. Overall, a pleasant stay with some minor areas for improvement.

Staying at this hotel was an absolute dream come true! The location is simply unbeatable, right next to Brennecke's and on the stunning Poipu beach. I loved being able to spot turtles and Monk seals from the beach. The horseshoe formation of the property, with pools in the middle and the ocean at the end, created a perfect setting for a peaceful vacation. Although the rooms lacked the desired ocean view, the interior or garden view was still pleasant. The two-bedroom setup with baths was convenient, and I wish the balcony had a better view.

I had a mixed experience at the hotel. The rooms offered a slice of Ocean View over the interior swimming pools, but the actual view didn't live up to my expectations. The separation between rooms with a living room was a nice touch. The service, despite not being in the points program, was accommodating with an Aloha Spirit, yet I felt like a second-class citizen at times. The location near Brennecke's and on Poipu Beach was a highlight, offering stunning views of turtles and Monk seals, but the overflow from the public area was a downside. The dining experience was decent during rainy weather but lacked variety in vegetarian food. The facilities were satisfactory overall.
